Funding Guidelines: The following funding guidelines are provided to assist grant applicants.
- The Foundation only provides grants to individuals and not to 501 c 3 non-profit organizations or other businesses or groups.
- Funding is intended to assist men in their desire to seek and afford alternative treatment forms or insurance non-approved forms of treatment; as well as those treatments insurance approved that the male may not be able to financially afford himself.
- Funding is only intended to pay for treatments and medications.
- Checks will only be distributed to treatment facilities, insurance companies or pharmacies and not to the individual themselves.
- By accepting grant funds from the Harry M Schmidt Foundation, recipient gives the Foundation permission to use their name and/or story in Foundation documents (names can be changed per request of anonymity of recipient)
